Privacy Policy

This Privacy Policy explains how Digital Berries handles information when you visit the Berry OS website, create an account, use the Berry OS application, connect third-party services, purchase a plan or contact support.

1. Information we may process

• Account information: name, email address, login and workspace information.
• Business data: client, lead, campaign, creator, finance, reporting and operational information that you choose to store in your workspace.
• Connected platform data: identifiers, permissions and permitted advertising/social/analytics information needed for enabled integrations.
• Billing data: subscription identifiers, plan, billing status and relevant payment-event references. Payment card details are handled by the payment provider rather than stored by Berry OS.
• Support information: messages and information you provide when requesting support or using Berry AI support.
• Technical information: security logs, browser/device information and basic usage information needed to operate and protect the service.

2. How we use information

We use information to provide Berry OS, authenticate users, separate workspaces, operate enabled integrations, deliver reports, process subscriptions, provide customer support, improve reliability, prevent abuse and comply with applicable legal obligations.

3. Berry AI

Public Berry AI on the marketing website is designed not to expose or use private customer workspace data. Authenticated Berry AI may use information that the signed-in user is authorized to access so it can answer workspace questions and provide recommendations. AI output should be reviewed before important decisions or actions.

4. Third-party integrations

When you connect Meta, Instagram, Google, email, WhatsApp or another supported service, Berry OS processes the permissions and data required for the enabled workflow. Those services have their own privacy policies and terms. You can revoke permissions through the relevant provider or by contacting us.

5. Facebook, Instagram, WhatsApp and Meta Platform Data

Berry OS accesses Meta Platform Data only when a workspace admin chooses to connect Facebook, Instagram or WhatsApp through Facebook Login for Business, and only for the assets they select. Depending on the features enabled and the permissions Meta has approved for Berry OS, we access:

• Ad accounts and ad performance (ads_read, ads_management): ad account names and IDs, campaigns, ad sets, ads, budgets, delivery and performance metrics, so the workspace can see its own reporting and, when the user asks, create or update its own campaigns.
• Facebook Pages (pages_show_list, pages_read_engagement, read_insights and, once approved, pages_manage_posts): the list of Pages you manage, Page engagement and insights, and publishing posts that you create or schedule in Berry OS.
• Instagram business accounts (instagram_basic, instagram_content_publish, instagram_manage_insights): the linked Instagram business profile (username, ID, profile details), your media, publishing content you create or schedule, and account and media insights.
• WhatsApp Business (whatsapp_business_management, whatsapp_business_messaging): the WhatsApp Business account, its phone numbers and message templates, sending messages that you write or approve, and delivery status updates.
• Business assets (business_management): discovering which ad accounts, Pages, Instagram accounts and WhatsApp Business accounts you have chosen to share with Berry OS.

Purpose. We use this data only to show a workspace its own advertising, social and messaging data, to publish content the user creates or schedules, and to send messages the user writes or approves. Meta Platform Data is used only for the workspace that connected it.

No selling or profiling. We never sell Meta Platform Data, never use it for advertising profiling, targeting or building user profiles, and never share it with third parties except Meta itself (to carry out the action you requested) and the infrastructure providers that host Berry OS under confidentiality obligations. Authenticated Berry AI may summarise a workspace's own Meta reports for that workspace's signed-in users only.

Token storage. Access tokens are stored server-side in the workspace's settings, encrypted where supported (refresh credentials are encrypted at rest with a server key), and are never sent to or stored in the browser.

Retention. Meta data is kept only while the integration is connected. Tokens and linked asset IDs are removed when you disconnect the integration or delete the workspace; cached reports are refreshed regularly from Meta and removed with the connection.

Revoking access and deletion. Disconnect at any time in Berry OS → Integrations → Disconnect, or remove Berry OS in Facebook Settings → Business Integrations. When you remove the app on Facebook, Meta notifies Berry OS and we automatically delete your tokens, asset IDs and cached Meta reports. 6. Payments

Berry OS uses an eligibility-first onboarding process. Payment instructions are shared privately after the Digital Berries team reviews and approves a request. Berry OS does not intentionally store full payment-card numbers.

7. Data sharing

We do not sell your business or workspace data. Information may be processed by service providers needed to operate Berry OS, such as hosting, database, email, analytics, AI and payment providers, subject to the applicable configuration and contractual or legal requirements.

8. Security

We use access controls, tenant-aware application logic, server-side secrets, authentication protections and verified payment/webhook flows designed to reduce unauthorized access and misuse. No internet service can guarantee absolute security.

9. Retention and deletion

We retain information for as long as needed to provide the service, maintain business records, resolve disputes, meet legal requirements and protect the service. You may request deletion of eligible personal or workspace information using our Data Deletion Instructions.

10. Your choices

Depending on your location and applicable law, you may have rights to access, correct, delete or otherwise control certain personal information. Contact us and we will review the request under the applicable legal framework.

11. International processing

Berry OS may be used by customers in different countries and information may be processed by service providers in jurisdictions different from yours. Appropriate safeguards are used where required by applicable law.

12. Children

Berry OS is a business service and is not directed to children. Please do not create an account or submit children's personal information through the service.

13. Policy changes

We may update this policy as Berry OS evolves or legal requirements change. The latest version will be published on this page with an updated date.
