Data Deletion Instructions
If you want eligible personal, workspace or connected-platform data removed from Berry OS, you can submit a deletion request. Include the account email, workspace name and the specific data or integration you want removed.
1. Email request
Email contact@digitalberries.co.in with the subject Berry OS Data Deletion Request. We may ask for reasonable verification before deleting account information.
2. Facebook, Instagram and WhatsApp (Meta) data
You can remove Berry OS and its Meta data at any time:
- Inside Berry OS: open Integrations and click Disconnect on Meta or WhatsApp. Tokens and linked asset IDs are removed from that workspace immediately.
- From Facebook: go to Facebook Settings & privacy → Settings → Business Integrations (or Apps and Websites), select Berry OS and click Remove. Tick the option to delete data Berry OS may have received, if offered.
What happens automatically: when you remove Berry OS on Facebook, Meta notifies us. Berry OS then marks your connections as disconnected and, for a deletion request, removes from every workspace you connected: your Meta access tokens, linked ad account, Page, Instagram and WhatsApp IDs, Page and Instagram publishing tokens, and cached Meta ad and insight reports. Facebook shows you a confirmation code for the request.
Check a request: enter the confirmation code shown by Facebook.
Manual deletion: to delete Meta-derived data that is not covered above (for example content you published through Berry OS that remains stored in your workspace), email contact@digitalberries.co.in with the subject Berry OS Meta Data Deletion Request, your workspace name and, if you have one, your confirmation code. Content already published to Facebook or Instagram stays on Meta and can be deleted there.
3. Other connected platforms
You can also revoke Berry OS access through the relevant third-party service (Google, LinkedIn, X). Revoking access prevents future API use, while eligible stored data can be deleted through a request.
4. What may be deleted
- Account and profile information, where legally and operationally eligible.
- Stored workspace records requested for deletion.
- Connected integration tokens and cached platform data.
- Queued content and other stored operational data where deletion is permitted.
5. What may need to be retained
Certain information may need to be retained for legal, tax, accounting, fraud-prevention, dispute-resolution or security reasons. Where retention is required, access and use remain limited to the applicable purpose.
6. Processing time
Automated Meta deletion requests are processed as soon as Meta notifies us. We aim to process other verified deletion requests within 30 days and, where applicable, within the timeframe required by law. We will explain if a request cannot be completed in full.
